A Stunning Continuous Skylight System.
Linel's scope included the engineering, fabrication and installation of this monumental skylight system. The central rotunda resembling a large jewel was designed with a combination of facets, vaults and angles measuring approximately 211 ft. by 160 ft. Connecting to the central rotunda are (2) two lateral 650 feet ridge skylight systems each ending in a 60 ft. diameter polygon dome. Linel also provided the 700 ft. long pedestrian walkway cover spanning a major roadway which connects to an additional shopping mall. To achieve the jeweled appearance, (3) three different reflective glass make-ups were used.
