Linel was chosen to provide the entire enclosure of this monumental Brazilian Rainforest Conservatory. The original conservatory layout, materials and plants envisioned by Roberto Burle Marx, were painstakingly scanned by laser, labeled and then stored while the new conservatory was built. When finished, all were restored to their "original" location within the new glass house. Linel engineered custom extrusions specific to this project including the historic styled I-beam version of the Linel SG1000 system, operable thermally broken sloped windows, hydraulically operated vertical windows with screens, gutters, downspouts, and entrances.
