Linel's Historic Profile Skylight System arrives at The Met!
When The Met needed (27) twenty-seven skylights replaced, Linel was chosen. This project spanned over 3 years and encompassed over 30,000 sqft of glass that would be performed in two construction phases.
Complying with the New York City Landmark Preservation regulations, Linel engineered and furnished a custom, pressure-equalized historic profile skylight system that kept true to the original design intent. This system will ensure long-lasting performance and improved lighting for the irreplaceable artwork housed at The Met for years to come.
