Linel's scope on this project included engineering, fabrication and installation of the custom panel system and custom designed walkway.
Panels: The very large rain screen panels 25 ft. tall and over 5 ft. wide required a collaboration with the mill to create a custom mill-run alloy to insure a clear un-streaked and consistently uniform anodized panel. The panels were attached to a girding system with a custom "hook and pin" attachment.
Stainless-Steel and Glass Walkway: This aspect of the project required Linel to engineer a very thin and visually minimally supported walkway frame out of polished stainless-steel plate to hold the glass panels in place. The roof panels were laminated stainless-steel that was custom tapered for water run off on top with a flat ceiling on the underside of the insulated panel.
