This project started with removing most of the old skylight leaving the space frames and rafter support structure in place. The remainder of the scope included engineering, fabricating and installing the new system while utilizing the original space framing and rafters. Glazing the high-performance insulating glass units, Linel secured everything in place with a new, custom designed rafter cap to match the original as designed by architect I.M. Pei.
