A Distinctive Signature Look.
Linel's scope on this project was the Burnet Campus Medical Office Building on the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Campus. The architect and owner desired a unique and distinctive signature look - a progressive state-of-the-art image for visitors and patients.
Utilizing design assist, Linel helped to make that a reality.
The custom plate fins are waterjet cut from 1/2-inch-thick aluminum plate of 6061-T651 temper. Each shape has a different depth - no two are alike! A 4-inch diameter tube is custom radiused to follow the graceful arc along the front edge of the building. The tube also stabilizes the fins. Linel's in house Kynar 500 paint line custom matched the color to compliment the other finishes on the building.
