Linel's scope on this project encompassed the skylights set to the steep angle that rose to the apex of the building. This is the type of project that Linel specializes in. The skylights start at level 40 and continue to level 56. The custom designed and developed pressure-equalized system was glazed with 36,000 sqft. of unitized glass sections from the interior of the building due to the steep angle of the skylights and the location of the project. Additional features included a lightning suppression system, snow and ice guards, and a unique custom designed building maintenance unit housed at the apex of the building. The maintenance unit, when closed, blends with the surrounding skylights. When in use, the maintenance unit rises above the building extending the telescoping arm allowing a full 360-degree access to the exterior of the building.
